Willie Moore, Jr., affectionately known as " Jr. Moe" was born January 23, 1937 in Cassatt, South Carolina to the late Willie Alexander and Annie Bell Gibbs Moore. On Thursday, October 13, 2016, he entered into eternal rest at his home in Cassatt, South Carolina after an extended illness. Willie accepted Christ and became a member of the Church of Christ at King Street in Camden, where he remained a faithful member until he became ill. He attended the public school in Kershaw County. Willie was employed with the City of Camden for over thirty years, where he became an awesome Heavy Equipment Operator. After his retirement, he continued to work with Collins Funeral Home using his expert skills as a Heavy Equipment Operator for twenty four years. Willie united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mary Lou Moore for 48 years. To that union, ten children were born, two of which preceded them in death, Amy Fletcher and Baby Girl Moore. He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Rosa (Eugene) Bowman of Bishpville, South Carolina, Willene (James) Thompson of Camden, South Carolina, Mary Ann (Lorenzo) Belton of Cassatt, South Carolina and Valerie (Michael) Workman of Camden, South Carolina; four sons, Melvin Moore, Sr. and Willie (Sheila) Moore, Jr., II both of Camden, South Carolina, Perry (Sonja) Moore of Mansfield, Texas and MSGT troy Moore of Tucson, Arizona; twenty one grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one aunt, Effie Anthony; one brother-in-law, Bennie Flectcher; two sisters-in-law, Mammie Linton and Katherine Taylor; God daughter, Francene Bee; a special relative who was also his long time devoted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA, caregiver), Reverend Kizzie Atkins and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
