Willie Corbett

Willie Roy Corbett, a loving son, brother, uncle and friend was born December 12, 1975 in Camden, SC to Willie Leo Corbett and Annie R. Blair Patterson. Willie, also know as "Azim", departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at MUSC in Florence, SC.
He was a graduate of Camden High School, class of 1995. He attended DeVry University (on line classes) where he pursued a degree in Human Services.
He had a true love for people. He was caring, respectful, considerate and all around wonderful. He had genuine love for his family and his friends. He had a positive energy that rubbed off when you talked to him. While he loved helping people, his true passion was music. He was well known for his DJ skills. To see him in action was mesmerizing.
He leaves behind his father Willie Leo Corbett, his stepmother Bertha Corbett, his mother Annie R. Blair Patterson, his stepfather John Henry Patterson, a fiance' Nikki Peterson, her daughters Ny Peterson, Janyia Peterson and Nasia Peterson, a sister Tracie Blair, two brothers Leon Corbett (Andreana) and Chris Corbett, step brothers Maurice Patterson, Jonathan and Michael McCaskill, a step sister Tameika McCaskill Dubose and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
