On Sunday, September 27, 2020 our beloved son, Travis Zidel Jiles was invited by The Lord to continue his journey with fellow angels to His Kingdom.
Travis was born February 4, 1998 in Columbia, SC to Travis and Lytarsha Jiles. At an early age, he joined Sanders Creek Baptist Church in Camden, SC, where he was a member of the sunbeam and junior choir.
Travis was a 2016 graduate of Camden High School, where he aspired as a member of the junior beta club. As a HOPE scholar, Travis studied computer science at Coastal Carolina University. Travis was a devoted son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend. Travis was passionate about music, enjoyed sports, loved eating and spending time with his family and friends.
Travis leaves to cherish his loving parents, Travis and Lytarsha Jiles; one sister, Zarria Jiles all of Camden, SC; Grandparents, Jacob (Kathleen) Jiles of Cassatt, SC, Shirley (Warren) Nelson of Lugoff, SC, and Joe (Lorraine) Wilson of Camden, SC; Four aunts, Favorite and beloved auntie Quinterra "Simone" (Maurice) Bradley of Camden SC, Chaka (Cedric) Davis, of Columbia, SC, Linda and Pamela Jiles both of Columbia, SC.; One uncle, Jacob Jiles of Springfield, Massachusetts; a devoted Godmother, Hope Alexander of Charlotte, NC; a loving Godfather, Harold Griffin of Fort Washington, Maryland.; a special motherly cousin, Vontisha "Tiny" Portee; two beloved cousins and brothers, Lorenzo "Phil" Portee and Dalen Mickle; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, family, friends and a special devoted friend Gabrielle "Gabbie" Rogers.
Travis was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Paulette Jiles, Deacon Joseph and Edna Wilson, Sylvester and Annie Mae Bush, and Madgalene Mickle; and his great uncle, Ronald Wilson.
