Thomas J. Wright of Bethune, SC passed away suddenly on Saturday, December, 16, 2017 at his home. Thomas was born in Lancaster, SC on August 12, 1950. He was 9 months old when he came to Washington, DC along with his Father, the late Sidney Wright and his, mother Mary Wright Thomas was the 3rd child of 10 children. Thomas had an outgoing and fun-loving personality whose charm touched the hearts of many. He was upbeat and kept you laughing.He had a unique laugh and many funny stories. Thomas was very gifted in art design and he enjoyed working on cars. He was very intelligent and had a love for politics. I'm sure if he had run for may or he would have won. Thomas was educated in the public school system of Fairfax County, Virginia. He worked at several companies before starting his own cleaning business, Top Gun, in his latter years. He had about 30 employees but none of them worked harder than Thomas himself. He was very successful and proud of his accomplishments. Especially his contract with The Washington Redskins training park in Ashburn, Va. He was a Redskins Fan. Thomas leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, a Fiancé, Jimi Austin, his mother Mary Wright Alexandria, VA, two sons, Tommee Wright (NaTasha) and Rush Wright of Alexandria VA,Grandchildren. Three brothers, David (Barbara), of Virginia,Gregory (Gloria) of South Carolina and Darrell (Claudia) of Florida; six sisters: Bettie, of Maryland, Lori (Ronald) of Virginia,Gloria (Carl) of Virginia, Cassandra (Timothy) of Virginia, Janet of Maryland and Darlene of Virginia. One aunt, Nannie Kirkland(Lancaster SC) and two uncles, Joseph Mickle (Sandra) and Gilbert Mickle (Laeula) of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
