Thomas "Jake" Schofield

Thomas Edward "Jake" Schofield, 79, of Camden, SC entered into rest on December 10th, 2019. He was born in Camden, SC to the late Carrie Bell Williams on August 14th, 1940.
Jake worked in the equine industry as a horse groomer for a number of years. He would travel with and care for race horses. He spent his youth in Camden and would eventually settle in Aiken, SC. He moved back home to Camden in 2012. Jake enjoyed playing the game of golf and watching football.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Delores Schofield; daughters, Tonia Schofield and Sidrina Chestnut; sisters, Roberta Schofield, Margie Clark, Shirley Massey and Helen Schofield; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 12 PM at Collins Funeral Home, Inc, 714 W. Dekalb Street, Camden, SC.
