Thomas Floyd Brown, 63, affectionately known as “Squeaky”,entered into rest the morning of September 1, 2022 in Lexington, SC, with his mother by his side. He was born March 14, 1959, in Wauwatosa, WI, to Lucretia Holley Brown and Richard Brown, Sr.
Thomas was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from1978 until 1984. After servicing his country, he came home to South Bend, IN, where he worked, loved and played. He loved his family and always brought the fun! Thomas loved working with and serving others. During football season, he worked at the stadium at Notre Dame and during baseball season, he worked at the stadium for the South Bend Cubs. He also worked at the Studebaker Museum, Drive and Shine Car Wash and Popeyes Chicken.
He is survived by his son, Torance Brown, South Bend, IN; mother, Lucretia Brown, Lexington, SC; brother, Richard Brown (Cathy), Kalamazoo, MI; sister, Doreena Lee (Jeff), Lexington, SC; his companion, Lula Mae Peak of South Bend, IN—whom he loved very much; nieces and nephews, Jarmaine, Tionna, Jeff, Jr. (Ashley), Chris, Jaelaca, Tyler, Calyn, Joseph, and Steven; six great nephews, one great-niece, three great-great nieces; two aunts, Peaches Morris, LaPorte IN, and Dortha Kennedy-Parchman, South Bend, IN; and a host of family and friends.
