Tahmauri I’moni Shayzell Sims was born on July 27,1995 in Florence, South Carolina to Tabitha Redden and Maurice Sims. On Thursday, August 31, 2023, she was called into eternal rest leaving behind cherished memories.
Tahmauri was affectionately called Taz by her family and friends.
Tahmauri attended Florence County Schools and was a 2014 graduate of Wilson High School where she was a Flaggirl for the marching band. She furthered her education at Virginia College where she graduated and received her certificate for Pharmacy Technician. She was currently employed at Publix Pharmacy in Columbia, South Carolina.
Tahmauri gave her life to Christ and was a member of Savannah Grove Church. Tahmauri loved to sing and aspired to become a model.
Tahmauri was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfathers, Ray Allen Redden and Joseph McCants.
Her memories will forever be treasured by her parents, Tabitha Redden and Maurice Sims; maternal grandparents, Diane (Walter) Fulton, Amityville New York and Gaddy Johnson Jr, Florence, South Carolina; paternal grandparents, Deborah Sims and Michael Wanzer of Florence, South Carolina;
maternal great-grand mother, Viola Hines, Florence, South Carolina; four sisters, Damoni Waiters, Brailyn Benjamin, Myeshah Sims and Megan Sims all of Florence, South Carolina; three Aunts, Pia Redden (Tony) Eaddy, Longfield, Ga., Latonya Sims and Vanessa Wanzer, Florence, South Carolina; a niece, Milaun Waiters, Florence, South Carolina; an abundance of great-grand aunts and uncles; a host of grand aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
Tahmauri I’moni Shyzel Sims, "Taz", spirit will live on through the memories she shared with family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at 104 Honeysuckle Lane, Quinby, SC
