Shannon G. Thomas

Shannon Gregory Thomas, affectionately known as "Big Bill", was born December 27, 1955 in Camden, South Carolina to the late James and Edna Thomas. He entered into rest on July 25, 2020 at Prisma Health Richland.

Shannon attended school in Stamford, CT and completed his education in Camden, South Carolina. He was a faithful member of Bread of Life Ministries in Stamford, CT. Shannon loved to play drums. He wa a member of the local group Soul Toys. Big Bill loved to cook his famous fried chicken and make pineapple upside down cakes and his family enjoyed each and every bite.

Those left to celebrate Shannon's life and cherish his memory include a loving sister, Gloria Polite of Camden, South Carolina; brothers, James (Dorothy) Thomas of Ashburn, VA, Ralph (Miriam) Thomas of Camden, SC and Charles Thomas, also of Camden, SC; a host of nieces and nephews.

Shannon was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jacqueline (Alfred) Alexander and his brother Clarence Thomas.
