Mamie B. Boykin

Mrs. Mamie Beatrice Allen Boykin was born October 2, 1917 in Sumter County, South Carolina to the late Bessie Osborne Allen and Tommie Allen. God called Mamie to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 1, 2016. She attended the Public schools of Sumter County. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Jeff Boykin, Sr. to this union two sons were born, Jeff, Jr. and Thomas. Mamie accepted Christ as her savior and joined Rafting Creek Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a member to the missionary society. Mamie was a caring person. She loved plants, flowers and cooking. She was a homemaker for many years and was a member of the American Legion auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jeff Boykin, Sr. and her sons Jeff Boykin, Jr. and Thomas Boykin. She leaves to cherish her memories a grandson Geoffrey (Robin) Boykin of Sugarland, Texas, a granddaughter, Deidre Redick of Brooklyn, New York, many other relatives and friends.
