The Lord has picked another flower from our family. Ms. Maebell Brevard, daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Brevard was born October 27, 1942 in Boykin, South Carolina. She entered into rest, Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Nassau University Medical Center in Hempstead, New York.
Maebell was employed with Ronnie and Penny Milliman of Westbury, New York for 55 years as a Private Duty Nurse. She attended First Baptist Church of Great Neck in Westbury, New York where she was very dedicated. Maebell enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her fond memories, grieve her passing and celebrate her home going are her son, Jesse (Vanessa) Brevard of Roosevelt, New York; two loving sisters, Margaret Abrams of Westbury, New York and Ruth (Willie) Mickle of Camden, South Carolina; one uncle, Jessie Brown of Columbia, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Edith Brevard of Washington, DC; four grand-children, Quantara, Kashima, C-Asia and Davelle; three great grandchildren, Malaki, Makayla and Makiah; two special friends, Anna Green and Sam Simpson both of Westbury, New York and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
