I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” On Friday, April 21, 2017, God saw fit to call his beloved daughter, Lettice Deneen Smith home not made by man. “Nina” was born June 17, 1964 in Norwalk, Connecticut, to the late Robert McKinley Smith Jr. and Elizabeth Boyd Smith. She attended Norwalk High School, where she played volleyball, which was her favorite sport. Also, Nina furthered her studies by attending Norwalk Community College, majoring in Business Management. Relocating to Camden, South Carolina, she was employed in the Fast Food Industry. Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her special friend, Esau Mike “My Black” of 17 years; son, Steven Smith of Norwalk, Connecticut and Cardell Jones of Columbia, South Carolina; a daughter, Ashley Smith of Columbia, South Carolina; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Smith Jr. of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Steven Austin Smith of Miami, Florida, Suzzane Boyd Austin of Malibu, California, Melissa Smith of Norwalk, Connecticut; one brother in law, James Austin; thirteen grandchildren, Nayshawn Smith, Sannayh Smith, Tymeir Smith, Seriyah Smith, Xavier Manning, Jai’via Jones, Cardell Jones Jr., Christopher Thomas,Jr., Rikye Jones, Christiana Thomas, McKinley Thomas, Dallas Smith, and Envy Smith; niece, Elizabeth Johnson; one
