Mr. Leroy Dye of Westville, South Carolina went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2023. He answered the call to return home as he was surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed his work life as he was promoted through the years.
Leroy Dye was born to Frances Dye on December 9, 1945. He always provided for his family by working at Duke Power Company for 42 years where he remained until his retirement.
He loved the Lord and attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Camden, South Carolina and Belmont Baptist Church in Westville, where he was a trustee for a number of years. He held that position in high regard and truly cherished working in the church.
He married the love of his life, Beulah Mae Smith and they created a wonderful life for each other and their families. He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, sister and brother.
He is survived by: Aunt Nettie Shaw, the oldest living member of our family; his sister, Mae Frances Dye; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; his children, Diana Kelly and Russell Dye; his grandchildren, Corey Kelly, Morgan Kelly and Josef Kelly; his two great-grandchildren, Kannon James Kelly and Kruz Timothy Kelly; nieces and nephews to mourn his loss, Juanita Ingram, Jerome Ingram, Beverly Neal-Clinton (Vaughn), Sherie Katrina Dye (Curtis) and Tamara Dye Anthony (Bernard); a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, friends, other family members and colleagues.
