Joseph A. Nowell

Mr. Joseph A. Nowell, 77, of Camden, SC passed away June 15, 2018. He was born in Charleston, SC to the late Robert L. Singleton and Anna Mae Nowell. Mr. Nowell worked for himself for several years. He also worked in customer service at Piggly Wiggly.Mr. Nowell was also known as a popular DJ on the Radio “Rocking Roy the Golden Boy”.He is survived by his children; Daryl Henry of Moncks Corner, SC, Joann Clay of Virginia and Joseph “Leroy” Nowell, Jr; grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 11 AM on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home, 714 W. Dekalb St, Camden SC 29020 with funeral services following in the chapel at 12 PM. Collins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
