Johnnie Mae Stuckey was born April 5, 1948 to the late John Wiley Corner and Mamie Mae Cook in Lee County. On October 8, 2020, she was called from labor to reward at Rice Estates in Columbia, South Carolina.

Johnnie Mae was a graduate of Dennis High School. She worked as a cook and retired from the Pinedale Residential Center. Johnnie Mae Was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church and would often attend Springhill United Methodist Church. She loved to shop at the flea market and had fun playing her numbers.

Johnnie Mae leaves to mourn her transition, her husband of over fifty years, Albert Stuckey; children, Anita (Willie Floyd) DuBose of Camden, South Carolina, Alan (Sandra) Stuckey of Dalzell, South Carolina, Timothy Stuckey of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Yolonda (Willie Darrell) Hart of Elgin, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special aunts, Emma James and Winnie Mae Wilson; and an uncle, John D. Butler. She was also loved and embraced by the families of Sadie Stuckey and Ollie Mae Stuckey as a sister. Additionally, she leaves behind two very special friends, Nether Holliday and Sadie Lenix; a special sister-in-love, Edith Sumpter; sisters-in-law, Josephine Wade, Janie (Junior) Heriot, Hattie Nelson, and Meanell Mack; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Wilson Martin and Eddie Stuckey; Cousin who was like a sister, Christine Johnson; sister-in-law, Bertha Nelson.
