John Lawrence Turner was born on March 14, 1939 to Ang and Sally Williams Turner. He entered into rest on January 4th, 2019 at Pruitt Health of North Augusta, South Carolina. John was educated in the public schools of Kershaw county. He served his country in the United States Army for a number of years. John also worked as a brick mason before his health began to fail. He loved music and playing his guitar.Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mildred Hill Turner of Camden, South Carolina; daughters, LaTonya (Reginald) Strouble of Covington, Georgia and LaSonya Turner of Columbia, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Jahlil Armstrong, TaKeyla Turner, TaKerra Turner and Tiana Turner; great grandchild, TaNiah Daniels; sisters, Josephine (Wilbert) of New York, Sallie Lowry of New Haven, Connecticut, and Ruth McCoy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; brother, Edward (Betty) Turner of Lugoff, South Carolina; mother in law, Beulah Hill of Lugoff, South Carolina; six sister in laws; six brother in laws; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
