The family will not hold a public viewing or visitation. Funeral services for Ms. Dixon will take place 2 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Unity United Methodist Church in Lugoff, SC. All guest at the service are required to wear mask inside the church facilities at all times. Condolences may be left at

Former radio personality Ms. Jacqueline “Jackie” Denise Dixon, 58, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Camden, South Carolina.
Jackie, the youngest child of Mr. Leroy Dixon and the late Mrs. Matherine Roberts Dixon, was born on March 30, 1964. She was a bright and gifted voice to her family and community.
After graduating from Lugoff-Elgin High School, Jackie received a degree from the University of South Carolina. She also accelerated spiritually, accepting Jesus Christ and joining St. John Baptist Church, Spring Hill Road in Camden, SC with dual membership at Unity United Methodist.
Jackie was a communications and media specialist and shared her voice for years on WPUB, WWDM and WFMV (Glory Communications Inc.). She also worked in communications at WOLO, USC and SC Department of Transportation where she was the “voice of 511.” Jackie was a talented and gifted songwriter, show producer, and published author but most importantly, a devoted child of God.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother, Matherine Roberts Dixon.
Those left to cherish fond memories are her daughter, Matherine “Crystal” Dixon; granddaughter, Johanna Gabrielle Williams; father, Leroy Dixon, Sr.; siblings, Minnie Alexander of Harford, MD; Leroy (Tracie) Dixon, Jr., of Lugoff, SC, Betty Dixon Turner of Lugoff, SC; Noah (Tasha) Dixon, of Irmo, SC; Patricia Dixon of Lugoff, SC; Linda (Thomas) Green of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
