George Brown

George Clyde Brown, 75 passed away after an extended illness on Monday, June 22nd. George was born on January 2, 1945 in Columbia, SC. He was retired and had worked as an auto mechanic most of his life, a trade he learned from his father. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Brown Mosteller (Scott); grandson, Zach Mosteller; four siblings - sister, Helen Brown Larrick (Gary) of Connelly Springs, NC, brothers, William (Andy ) Brown (Kathy) of Jacksonville, FL, Terry Kee (Patricia) of Huntsville, AL and Gerry Kee (Kathy) of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by Bryan Cornelius of Lugoff, SC who was like a son to George along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and very good friend Ms. Rosemarie Whittingham of Lugoff, SC. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Craft Brown James, father, Frank Colin Brown and brother, David T. Brown. There will be a private family burial of his ashes at a later date.
