A Lifetime of Devotion & Love
Mrs. Geneva McLeod Dow was called home late in the evening on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in Burlington, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Levenia McLeod.
Born on June 16, 1929, in Sumter County, South Carolina, where she attended school, as well as the Rafting Creek Baptist Church with her family.
She was a devoted wife to Morris Dow, Jr., who preceded her in death. Together they shared 52 years of cherished memories. Mrs. Dow was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A renowned domestic engineer, she welcomed family and friends for gatherings, delicious meals, and love. Those whose lives she touched will forever treasure her kindness and generosity.
Mrs. Dow was also preceded in death by her sister, Christine Wilson; brother, O’Donell McLeod; and daughter, Sheila Mack.
Those left to forever treasure her memory are her two sons: Norris Dow of Burlington, New Jersey and Nole Dow of Columbia, South Carolina; son-in-law, Samuel Mack of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Kelly Mack (and wife, Marilyn) and Kahlila Lawrence (and husband, Rory) all of Tampa, Florida, Noelle Melissari of North Brunswick, New Jersey, and Douglas Orr of Germantown, Maryland; great-grandchildren, Isis Layla Melissari of North Brunswick, New Jersey; brother, Robert McLeod of East Orange, New Jersey, sister-in-law, Barbara Dow Fennal of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
