Deaconess Doshia C. Drakeford entered into eternal life at the Clinton Nursing Home in Clinton, Maryland on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. Born in Keshaw County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Wylie Clark and Odessa Clark. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she supported her church with her presence, finance and prayers. While living in Camden, she cherished and loved her community and was respected by all who came in contact with her. Mrs. Drakeford was a member of Hadoth Chapter #138, Order of Eastern Star (OES) in Camden. She worked at the Kershaw County Memorial Hospital for many years. Her children moved her to Maryland so that they could better atttend to her health needs. Those left to cherish her fond memories, grieve her passing and celebrate her home going are: Mrs. Sylvia (Walter, Jr.) Drakeford, Landover, Maryland, Mrs. Bernice (William) Albritton, Forestville, Maryland and Robert J. (Carolyn) Drakeford, Accokeek, Maryland; four grandchildren, Mrs. Nicole (Victor) Jones of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Mr. Brian (Toresso) Stokes of Washington, North Carolina, Mrs. Sabrina (Shawn) Wynn of Bowie, Maryland and Miss Stacey Albritton of Forestville, Maryland; five great grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Clark of Landover, Maryland; one sister, Sophia C. Drakeford of Camden, South Carolina; two sister-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In Appreciation
