Dale Pennington, 53, of Camden, South Carolina entered into rest on November 17, 2023. He was born December 8, 1969, in Toledo, Ohio to Frances and Danny Pennington.

Dale was educated in the public schools of Orange County in Orlando, Florida. He received a technical degree in auto mechanics and became a master certified ASE mechanic. Dale had a love for technology and learning. He loved engineering and decided to further his career by working with heavy equipment such as cranes and heavy-duty mining equipment. It was in this field of mechanical work that he began his career with the Haile Gold Mine. Dale became the mobile maintenance training coordinator where he worked to train others and assisted with equipment safety. What will be remembered most is that he loved to share his knowledge and he took the time to learn how to share what he knew with others.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Chris.

Those that remain to share his memories include his wife, Shawna; children, Rene, Holly and Alex; son-in-law, Trevor; grandson that is on the way, Rowen Dale; sister, Lori; twin brother, David; father-in-law, Cleve; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 714 W. Dekalb Street, Camden, South Carolina, 29020. There will be a reception at his residence immediately following the services.
