Blanche Geneva Greene

Blanche Greene departed this earth to be with the Lord on Saturday , January 2, 2021. She was born on August 6, 1961 in Camden, South Carolina to Mary Drakeford and the late Bennie Drakeford Sr. Blanche attended and graduated North Central High School in Kershaw, South Carolina.

She was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church on Flat Rock Road in Camden, SC. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her late father , Bennie O. Drakeford Sr, brother Bennie O. Drakeford Jr both of Camden, South Carolina and her son Terrence Ryan Drakeford, of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Those left to cherish her fond memories and celebrate her homegoing are her husband, Gregory Greene of Columbia, SC, her mother, Mary Drakeford of Camden, South Carolina; two children Danielle Jones, son-in-law Anwar Jones of Charleston, SC and Marcus Greene of Camden, SC; three granddaughters, Olivia Jones of Charleston, SC, Talaisha Greene of Lugoff, South Carolina, and Ja’Kayla Monae CarMichael of Goldsboro, North Carolina; two grandsons, Isaac Jones of Charleston, SC and Terrence Drakeford Jr. of Goldsboro, North Carolina; siblings, Maryann Drakeford of Rock Hill, SC, Lottie Drakeford, Shirley Drakeford, Lindsey Drakeford of Camden, SC , Jean Drakeford of Gastiona, NC, Denise Drakeford of Columbia, SC, Ken Drakeford of Camden of SC, Samantha Hamrick (Travis Hamrick) of Savannah GA, and Dana Bache (Zach Bache) of Lawrenceville GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
