Arnella Maria Brevard was born November 30, 1988, to Lionel Brevard, Sr. and Althea Brevard in Danbury, Connecticut. Arnella known as Maria to all was very special. She attended Danbury Connecticut public schools and Camden High School. She didn't let anything stop her from learning and dreaming of the things she wanted to do. At Greater Faith Deliverance Church in Camden, South Carolina, Maria (Arnella) was on the praise team and how she loved to sing. She also enjoyed swimming and running and won several medals in the Special Olympics. Drawing by far was her dream. She drew on a daily basis and dreamed of having an art store. She sold many of her art works at the flee market. Maria was preceded in death by Joseph Barnes, Phillip Tallman, Sr., Samuel Crews and Phillip Tallman, Jr. Those left to cherish her memories are her parents: Lionel Brevard, Sr. and Althea Brevard of Camden, South Carolina; two sisters, Oprah Brevard of Camden, South Carolina and Patricia Brevard of Sumter, South Carolina; one brother, Linel Brevard, Jr. of Camden, South Carolina; grandparents, Elliott Brevard, Jr. and Doris Brevard of Camden, South Carolina and Letha Barnes of Danbury, Connecticut; aunts, Cynthia Tallman, Debra McGee and Lesha Crews all of Danbury, Connecticut; uncle, Lance Brevard (Carolina) of New Milford, Connecticut and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
