**Obituary for Alice Brevard**
Alice Brevard, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6th, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on September 17th, 1950, in Manhattan, New York, Alice brought joy, love, and kindness to all who knew her. She spent her later years residing in Camden, South Carolina, where she continued to touch the lives of many.
Alice was a dedicated employee at TD Bank, where she worked as a relationship banker in customer service. Her commitment to helping others and her warm, friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and clients.
Beyond her professional life, Alice was deeply involved in her community and church. She was a cherished member of the finance committee at Greater Faith Church of the Abundance in Paterson, New Jersey. Her love for music was evident in her passion for singing, while her artistic talents shone through in her drawing and art. Alice also enjoyed the camaraderie and fun of bowling, a pastime she shared with friends and family. Upon relocation to Camden, South Carolina, she became a member of Sanders Creek Baptist Church.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Baker, and her siblings, James Fields, Allene Baker, Gladys Waters, and Lorraine Baker.
Alice is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald G. Brevard, Sr.; her loving son, Ronald Brian Brevard, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Jamila Cyani Bowers-Brevard. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: sisters, Susan Baker and Dorothy Baker, and brothers Glen Baker, Larry Fields, Michael Baker, and Clarence Baker. Lastly, a host of brother and sister in laws, nephews, nieces, church members and friends who will forever remember her.
A funeral service to celebrate Alice's life will be held at Sanders Creek Baptist Church in Camden, South Carolina, on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Prior to the service, a public viewing will be available from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the same location. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and honor a remarkable woman who touched so many lives. The final service will take place in Harlem New York and the committal and Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, New Jersey.
Alice Brevard will be dearly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
