Mr. Adolphus Dye entered into eternal life at the Karesh Wing Long Term Care Facility on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Camden, South Carolina at the age of 65. He was born October 20, 1950 in Camden, Kershaw County, South Carolina to the late Ms. Frances Dye. Mr. Dye graduated form Jackson High School in Camden, South Carolina. He was employed as a police officer in the town of Kershaw, South Carolina. He enjoyed training dogs and his favorite dog was named, "Coon Trap." Adolphus was preceded in death in addition to his mother, a sister-in-law, Beulah Mae Dye. Those left to cherish his memories, grieve his passing and celebrate his home going are: a daughter, Tamara D. Shropshire of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Demarchea Shropshire, Porsha Shropshire, Alexis Shropshire, James Shropshire, Kimayana Shropshire and Trayfon Shropshire; sisters, Maggie D. Neal of Camden, South Carolina and Mae F. Dye of Passaic, New Jersey; brother, Leroy Dye (Phyllis) of Camden, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
